I oppose this item. The town's zoning rules have made Collierville a great place to live. There is no acceptable reason to accommodate this request. It will have no benefit to the town's current residents. Keep Collierville great

I oppose this and all variances that increase densities and alter zoning.

You know the negative impact these changes would have on our well-being, enjoyment, safety and property values and so I won’t waste our time by re-stating them.

If approved, I will support a boycott of the following businesses: those located in the subject area, involved with the construction, owned by any Alderman who votes for it and any company that holds licenses for them.

I strongly oppose the cut through to White Road and the apartments proposed for Maynard way area. The schools are already at capacity and we do not need any additional traffic down White especially since children walk to school that way daily. Please do the right thing for our community and do not approve.

Elementary students walk White Road to and from school. The tdaffic is already bad, please don't make it worse.

I strongly oppose. White road is busy enough & nearby schools are full. I witnessed a child get hit by a car 4 years ago. We do not need more people on this road to add more likelihood of it reoccurring. Students walk down this road before and after school. Keep our children safe! Rezoning is not an option. Think of those who bought their home for a specific school that is a mile away. Listen to the tax payers and please DO NOT approve.

I strongly oppose the apartments and cut through. West White is already extremely busy and this will significantly add more traffic and danger. Dozens of elementary kids walk home every day and we have already had a child but in the last few years. Please do NOT approve this.

I have concerns on the density of the proposed apartments. Nearly 200 units imposes impacts to schools, traffic and crime. This proposal, has impacts on the surrounding streets and intersections (Poplar, Byhalia, White and Queen Oak to Powell). The road infrastructure in this area is already congested during the business hours and at the afternoon commute. The traffic study needs to consider the unintended consequences related to the proposed cut-through.

I oppose this cut through. The White Road retention pond and ditch that runs along Queen Oaks cannot handle the additional runoff water from the new development. My yard backs up to the ditch. Currently any heavy rainfall floods my street as well as several yards. The water is not able to drain from the street to the ditch. This will create more flooding problems for me and my neighbors.

We oppose the cut through and apartments. Both of those would increase traffic on White Road and in our neighborhood where our kids play and we walk, sometimes with our special needs son. We are also super concerned that the apartments will add too many more children to our full schools, especially the high school.

I am strongly opposed to additional high density apartment construction along with additional traffic issues this will cause. We do not want the essence of our small town to be overtaken by rental properties. We hope the Planning Commission will listen to the homeowners of Collierville who have already been investing in our town and paying property taxes all along and reject any high density developments for Collierville. Please preserve our beautiful Town!

We oppose this cut through and the apartments! This will add more dangerous traffic while the kids walk to school. Also apartments are nothing but temporary living and that brings crime to the middle of our town! Our schools are already overcrowded!

No to max density. This proposed max density development will hurt the existing neighborhoods nearby by causing increased traffic and crime. This property should remain R1.

I live in Rosewood Plantation with my wife and three daughters who all attend Collierville schools. We are very concerned about the planning commission resolutions that propose a cut through on White Road and the clearing of the way for more apartments. I cannot imagine how this could possibly benefit the residents of Collierville. It will result in less stable, transient people moving to Collierville, overcrowding our schools, likely bringing crime, and creating traffic problems.
