I oppose this Planned Development plan. This amount of businesses and residences at the proposed location will have a serious negative impact on traffic all around adjacent areas. This type of dense, mixed-use development doesn't benefit the existing Town residents.

I oppose this development. I live on White Road. We do not need any more traffic on this street. We are risking the safety of our children. The street is already congested with traffic during morning rush hour and afternoon rush hour.
I also want to point out the speed limit for our road is not properly administered already!
    WE OPPOSE THIS DEVELOPMENT.

I oppose this and all variances that increase densities and alter zoning.

You know the negative impact these changes would have on our well-being, enjoyment, safety and property values and so I won’t waste our time by re-stating them.

If approved, I will support a boycott of the following businesses: those located in the subject area, involved with the construction, owned by any Alderman who votes for it and any company that holds licenses for them.

I have concerns regarding the traffic impact of this development on the surrounding streets and intersections (Poplar, Byhalia, White and Queen Oak to Powell). The road infrastructure in this area is already congested during the business hours and at the afternoon commute. The traffic study needs to consider the unintended consequences related to the proposed cut-through.

I also have concerns on the density of apartments. Nearly 200 units imposes impacts to schools, traffic and crime.

I oppose this cut through. The White Road retention pond and ditch that runs along Queen Oaks cannot handle the additional runoff water from the new development. My yard backs up to the ditch. Currently any heavy rainfall floods my street as well as several yards. The water is not able to drain from the street to the ditch. This will create more flooding problems for me and my neighbors.

Please reject this. This will create unnecessary traffic along White Road and disturb all the surrounding neighborhoods.

Please reject this. The increase in traffic and population will make White Road unsafe and overcrowd our schools

I oppose the proposed Ashby Planned Development and cut-through to White Road. Respectfully implore the Planning Commission to reject this proposal.

No to max density. This proposed max density development will hurt the existing neighborhoods nearby by causing increased traffic and crime. This property should remain R1.

I live in Rosewood Plantation with my wife and three daughters who all attend Collierville schools. We are very concerned about the planning commission resolutions that propose a cut through on White Road and the clearing of the way for more apartments. I cannot imagine how this could possibly benefit the residents of Collierville. It will result in less stable, transient people moving to Collierville, overcrowding our schools, likely bringing crime, and creating traffic problems.

I am opposed to the rezoning of this area. I feel that developing this area into apartments or multi use development will lower overall property values. I came to this area because of the lack of apartments and the good schools. It will create an excess burden on Collierville Elementary which will likely cause rezoning. My children go to the school and we do not want to be rezoned. Part of the draw to Collierville is the feel of the community. Apartments create crowding and traffic.
