More gas stations and convenience stores are not needed in Collierville! Let’s keep our residential areas as residential. Adding more businesses attracts unwanted traffic.
We recently relocatedfrom Chicago to Collierville seeking a secure and peaceful environment for our family. However, we strongly object to proposals for gas stations within the community, citing concerns over compromised safety, increased traffic, and potential harm to local character.
We don’t want any more gas stations in collierville, we have enough gas stations. If we add more gas stations indirectly we are encouraging more crime in near by communities.
This neighborhood doesn't need a gas station because it is entirely residential and has a dead end on one side. Additionally, Collierville already has enough gas stations, and another has been proposed for Byhalia Commons and Collierville Drive. Additionally, the city has as many petrol stations as the country as a whole, therefore we don't need any more.
Town of Collierville needs more recreational places for community. I can understand that it will bring more traffic to the mall but that’s not beneficial for the community. Bring something more useful places like children’s arcade or some sort of educational facility. Bringing gas station will only help those big developers fill their pockets. Be mindful before making decision.
We strongly oppose the construction of another gas station at this location due to the increased traffic and potential for crime it may bring. With several gas stations already in close proximity, adding another offers no real benefit to the community and instead risks attracting further crime and contributing to neighborhood decline.
I strongly oppose this gas station and on top of that Town of Collierville wants to add a car wash to it too? On what basis is this beneficial to anyone in our community? What good will this bring to Collierville? The increased traffic will cause safety hazards, accidents, and harmful conditions which needs to be avoided. The increased crime, violence , and noise will be a drawback to future residents of Collierville approving so many gas stations. We need to make some changes.
We strongly oppose another gas station at this location which brings in additional traffic and crime. There are multiple gas stations in the close proximity and what advantage would we get to the neighborhood by adding one more other than bringing in additional bad crime and bring down more trouble to the neighborhood.
We already have lot of traffic due to 2 gas stations nearby. We need a Peaceful neighborhood since we are living with kids and families. We are worried that more and more Gas stations will increase even more traffic and crime. So we strongly oppose the idea of building one more.
Strongly oppose gas station at this location, one already building in collierville and another one is approved? Why? What is the need? It will increase traffic and bring bad crowd near mall area. Car wash will be safe heaven for homeless from Memphis, It will bring a threat to families going for shopping or dinner at the shopping center.
I support the gas station and car wash here. This is a necessary piece of town infrastructure as the town is seeing large growth in homes and population in this area. This convenience actually prevents excessive traffic we see at some already busy corners due to limited gas station availability on the south side of poplar. I have read the concerns about safety and would ask those commenters to evaluate if they feel unsafe at any of our existing gas stations. I feel safe at them all.
Gas station in this area is not needed its all residential with a dead end on one side, plus Collierville have enough gas station and there is one more already approved on Collierville Drive and Byhalia Commons. also the city is has equal number of gas station as national average we dont need more

I strongly oppose to have another gas station in this area because we need our Collierville area clean, safe and away from the crimes.
I have opposed this before, I will oppose it again. Collierville has plenty of gas stations already

I am firmly against this proposal. Collierville is already well-served with numerous convenience stores.
Yes we strongly opposed another gas station we need to keep our environment clean and peaceful
