As resident of Collierville and owner of Mid‑South Gifted Academy, I urge approval of the economic hardship certificate for 215 S. Center. The 2040 Land Use Plan and Downtown Collierville Small Area Plan call for adding mixed‑use development south of the tracks. The Campbell House is beyond repair. A new, appropriate building will energize the neighborhood, provide modern retail and office space, and turn a vacant site into an asset embodying the 2040 vision for a vibrant downtown.

I fully support this project and the applicants behind it. Replacing the outdated building with a thoughtfully designed multi-use facility will enhance functionality while contributing to the continued vitality of the Collierville Historic District. This project respects the character of our community while providing modern space that will serve residents and visitors alike.

I support development as it strikes the right balance between preserving the district's heritage and introducing urban growth into the area around the town square. It is precisely the type of well thoughtout development our town square needs.

I support the proposal to allow this project to proceed. Preserving our history doesn’t mean we have to prevent thoughtful, responsible growth. This business has shown a commitment to respecting the character of the area while bringing revitalized opportunity to the community. A balance between preservation & progress is essential for keeping the district vibrant, relevant, and economically sustainable. Assuredly, this applicant will do just that with the execution of the current building plan.

After viewing the proposed project, I fully support the approval of such a beautiful and aesthetically pleasing addition to the Collierville historic district. If allowed and approved, I truly believe the addition of such a beautiful building will be an asset to the Collierville historic district as well as the surrounding communities. I personally know the people involved in this project and I honestly cannot think of a better couple to take on this project. They are true visionaries.

The current plans to build a multi-use building on this site will be a great compliment to the newly built Mid-South Gifted Academy School building directly across the street. Not only will it enhance the look and feel of this key location, but it will also bring exciting opportunities - supporting local businesses and offering attractive, affordable housing options, especially for young professionals eager to be part of a thriving community.

I fully support the approval of this project! I cannot imagine anyone using the current structure for any type of commercial activity in its current state. The amount of work that has already gone into the details of this project shows the desire of the applicant to do nothing but better the town. The building itself is beautiful & functional yet keeps in touch with the towns historic feel. I would love to see this project approved, built and supporting business & life in Collierville.

I strongly support this project and encourage the approval of this plan for the betterment of the square and adjacent community. I know and trust many of the names associated with this project as longstanding Collierville citizens who care deeply about the town and the people.

This project makes complete sense to me and to the community. The current structure on the property isn't compatible with most any commercial or office use and thus we should expect it to fall further and further into disrepair without a redevelopment plan like we have before us.

As former co chair of the Downtown Development Plan I would like to make the comment that this project is EXACTLY what we envisioned and would help the entire Historic District if allowed. It is a wonderful thing that we have an applicant who was willing to go through this daunting process and spend money to get to this point. I encourage you to look to the future and approve this plan.
