10.A) Preliminary Site Plan for the Cartwright Place Business Center Planned Development (PD), (Chick-fil-A) for a 6,110 square foot restaurant on 2.54 acres located north of Poplar Avenue, west of Bray Station Road and east of Cartwright Farm Lane, Case #233183 (Presentation by: Donquetta Singleton, Assistant Town Planner)
I stand in solidarity with my neighbors in PROTECTING Collierville from this proposal. I love Chick-fil-A (CFA) however, the intersection, train track and expanding traffic is already dangerous there. A MEGA CFA only multiplies the problem. The future safety problems this location will generate exceed ANY benefits. The only ones who do benefit from this location receive a check from CFA. Meanwhile, Collierville and her residents assume all the risk. There are more responsible locations.
Definitely support, for safety reasons alone. The space needs to be larger with better parking and better entrance/exit safety. Hopefully there can be two new locations!
I am opposed to CFA moving to Bray Station and Poplar. Although the zoning of this property is for Food Service, at the time of this zoning process, there wasn't a restaurant in Collierville with the volume of vehicle traffic generated by a CFA. Bray Station will take the bulk of the traffic as most CFA customers will approach the location from their homes north of Poplar. This application should be denied, and our zoning criteria updated to consider the various restaurant types of today.
I am definitely in favor of relocating CFA. This particular site plan addresses issues for parking and the line that backs up on Poplar. You can tell they did their homework. I believe this plan benefits the majority of Collierville citizens.
I've looked over the plan, and I support the building of this new Chick-fil-A. The current plan can handle a large amount of traffic, and Chick-fil-A seems more than willing to adjust their plan to meet the needs of the city (including paying for improvements to Bray Station and Frank if needed). I would encourage everyone to read the traffic study if they have concerns. It was very informative.
I fully support moving Chick-fil-A. For those who don’t visit the restaurant, the traffic on Poplar is enough to support it moving. As the main road through our town, having an entire lane blocked off during lunch and dinner hours is a nuisance. If you do visit Chick-fil-A, then this move will allow a safer visit for customers and staff. There will also be more amenities, such as a playground and a patio. These are things our town could use and it’s a few of the many reasons we should move it!
I do agree CFA needs to be moved, however moving it just two lights down is not a solution. The new CFA is three times as large, which means increased traffic. Traffic jams on Poplar will remain, and traffic on Bray Station will increase. Bray Station is not equipped for the traffic this Mega CFA will bring. I urge our Mayor and Aldermen to think of all of the future problems this will bring to Poplar and Bray Station. I urge CFA to pick a better location for their new HUGE restaurant.
The new location can handle traffic flow. The current location has already proven deadly for one family & it is bound to happen again if the location is not changed & lawsuits are inevitable. The parking lot is crowded & causing a nuisance to businesses in the adjacent lot. Cars from CFA cutting through behind Home Depot are a threat of death/injury. CFA was built long ago when there were a lot less inhabitants here. Many coming from MS means the new location is ideal. Don't be bullied by HOAs.
I strongly support the new Chick-fil-A location. It is very clear there is a great need for it in Collierville. The building and the new location is very well planned and thought out! I am so thankful for Chick-fil-A in our city and their high standards including this plan for their new building and location!!
I support the plan for relocation. As Collierville’s population has grown, Chick-fil-A’s customer base has outgrown the space. The new location would allow for a safer traffic flow not only for Chick-fil-A, but also for the surrounding area. It will also allow Chick-fil-A and it’s employees to more easily/safely provide the level of service expected from the franchise.
I support the new location plan for increased safety, better traffic flow, and better service. We have an awesome CFA, and the team there works very hard for our community. This will make things even better!
I support the relocation of the chick-fil-a restaurant so there can be better logistics. The current location is very restrictive and often has traffic jams or requires tight maneuvering to enter and exit. It’s not safe for workers or customers. I would also love to have the place space back.

Chick-fil-A is a great community partner. The new location is needed to help with traffic.
I support

CFA not on Bray!

Please allow CFA to move.

I absolutely support the relocation. This will greatly improve the current traffic situation which will be better for our town and its residents!

Collierville needs this new location for the Chick-fil-A.
I think this is great idea to help with the saftey of employees and customers, the flow of traffic and parking.
I think this plan is a great option that would minimize any additional disruption to existing traffic patterns. I can’t wait!
