Not needed! There are plenty of gas stations and stores Nearby. Building another is setting the community up for more crime being so close to the highway. I STRONGLY OPPOSE!

I strongly oppose. The area is already congested with the high school and elementary school down the road. We don’t need the added traffic nor the crime. There is a gas station just a 1/2 mile away. Please vote NO

I strongly oppose this plan. Gas station so close to the high school and residential areas will not be a good thing. Please, reconsider. We have enough gas stations.

I oppose adding another gas station. There are already plenty close to where this one would be. It will bring unwanted traffic and an opportunity for increased crime. It will also be very close to residential neighborhoods and schools.

I strongly oppose the building of a convenience store near 385. This will bring more traffic and crime plus there are already gas stations close by.

I strongly oppose putting a gas station/ convenience store at this location. A gas station/convenience store would bring more traffic and crime to our community. There are several gas station less than a mile from this location than can be used.

I oppose this and agree with all the comments regarding increased traffic and crime to those neighborhoods and high school.

I oppose additional convenience stores in this area so close to 385. It will only help encourage crime.

I strongly oppose a gas station being built. There is a gas station a mile away and it has had numerous issues involving crime! The most recent I know about is a woman and her children held at gunpoint. You are inviting more crime to come closer to our neighborhoods, to the high school, and to SES.

I think this is a great location for a convenience store as long as it looks good and is well maintained!

    Hello,

I oppose this action. A convenience store doe not fit the characteristics of the neighborhood. Thanks.

I strongly oppose this gas station/convenience store. We have plenty of them nearby. This will only bring crime to our peaceful neighborhood.

We are not in need of any more gas stations in Collierville.

In addition to several demerits of having convenience store/gas station around a great neighborhood from environmental pollution to increase in crime rate, I am extremely worried more about its proximity to our prestigious & iconic Collierville High School. There is a potential chance for our kids wanting and being able to buy general junk all too easily, not to mention cigarettes and liquor if they are teenagers. I strongly oppose this move for the betterment of the community and our children

I oppose. Enough convenience stores already. I’m getting claustrophobic with all this building. We need some breathing room here.

The proposed gas station at the corner of Byhalia and Collierville rd is unnecessary given the 9 gas stations in a 3 mi radius. A gas/convenience store is a safety hazard for our children as Byhalia Rd is the primary route to collierville high school and sycamore elementary school. The potential 1000+ increase in vehicular traffic visits per day to this intersection drastically increases the risk to minors in the heavily residential areas less than a half mile west, south and east of this site.

We live just down the street from this and oppose the gas station and the negative impacts to our neighborhood and home values. There will be an increase in traffic and a potential for crime, especially given its proximity to 385 and the other gas station near 385 on Byhalia has bad record with crime.

Gas stations lead to crime and reduced property values. Strongly Oppose

I oppose this gas station. There is a convenience store less than 1/2 mile up the road which has had several violent crimes. We do not need a store that is a breeding ground for additional crime in our area and that is closer to our elementary and high school. Please keep our kids safe, vote no!

I oppose! Several stations are already within a mile. Would love to keep our peaceful and beautiful neighborhood. This station will surely bring traffic and crime. I oppose!
