I oppose this plan. A gas station and convenience store will bring litter, crime and excessive traffic to what is now a peaceful community. I moved to this area because of it's remote quiet setting embedded within land with trees, farmland, ranch homes, and shaded roads. There is already a gas station/convenience store within a reasonable proximity of the neighborhood. Collierville is a suburban area, and as such, we must protect the peacefulness of our residential communities.
Historically gas stations this close to 385 have been a magnet for crime. I think 2 gas stations this close to residential areas will be trouble. I would like for us to put our focus on keeping collierville a sleepy residential community like germantown instead of a commercial area like memphis with a high crime rate. If this land commercial we should consider putting stipulations that property keeping it to small shops and boutiques that would interest the high schoolers or medical offices.
I oppose this plan. There are already 2 gas stations within 2 miles of this site. An additional gas station in this residential area would dilute the residential planning and be at odds with the neighborhood.
I strongly oppose. The area is already congested due to the proximity to both the high school and elementary school. We don’t need the added traffic nor the crime that comes with a gas station, as we’ve seen with the incidents down the road at the Shell on Winchester.
In addition to several demerits of having convenience store/gas station around a great neighborhood from environmental pollution to increase in crime rate, I am extremely worried more about its proximity to our prestigious & iconic Collierville High School. There is a potential chance for our kids wanting and being able to buy general junk all too easily, not to mention cigarettes and liquor if they are teenagers. I strongly oppose this move for the betterment of the community and our children
Better options would be a recreational area, a few luxury homes, or a medical building. I am opposed to the traffic added by another gas station, which would also be increased by another apartment or townhouse property in the area. Why is there such a demand to rid the area of nature? The primary reason I like my neighborhood is because it's in a wooded area where I don't have to look at another house or commercial building in my backyard.
I strongly oppose this proposal as it may affect the quality of a peaceful neighborhood. Property value of the nearby neighborhood may diminish drastically. In and out traffic may bring chaos and increase in crime. it may adversely affect the health of school kids by being near to Collierville High as tobacco and beer are easily available to kids within walking distance.
I oppose this plan. There are enough convenience stores in the area. This intersection is already crowded, there is no need to add anymore congestion. A convenience store here could bring crime and dangerous driving situations for young drivers, since the high school is right there.
I oppose this action. A convenience store does not fit the characteristics of our neighborhood. Thanks.

Strongly oppose, plenty of other options in town. We don’t need an increase in crime and traffic to an already busy intersection!
There is no need for a gas station at this location. It will only bring about crime and even more traffic in an already congested area.
I oppose this plan. There are already 2 gas stations within 2 miles of this site. An additional gas station in this residential area would dilute the residential planning and be at odds with the neighborhood.
I strongly oppose this project, we have enough gas stations in the area and no need for additional gas station less then half a mile from one other.
I strongly oppose. The area is already congested due to the proximity to both the high school and elementary school. We don’t need the added traffic nor the crime that comes with a gas station, as we’ve seen with the incidents down the road at the Shell on Winchester.
I think this is a great location for a convenience store as long as it looks good and is well maintained!
Security Concerns
Oppose. Too close to neighborhoods. Not a healthy choice for anyone. We already have one at Winchester & Byhalia.

I oppose for safety and security reasons. Another convenience store is not needed.
Crime crime crime
I oppose. Too close to our neighborhood. Several convenience already in area. It takes away from our homes and neighborhood.
