I strongly oppose. We do not need another gas station. With gas station comes crime. We don’t need to bring potential crime to an area located so close to both an elementary and high school. Please vote NO!

    To:
1: Safety and Security: First and foremost, we have always felt like we live in a safe and secure environment in this area where our neighborhoods are. We always feel like we can take a casual relaxing walk, or that the kids can go for biking without the commercial environment around us. This gas station will threaten the safety and security of us and our kids.

This is a residential neighborhood and all the amenities are within a short drive to Poplar or Winchester. I strongly suggest to preserve the integrity of the neighborhood and protect the property values. Please help to keep the area feel like home.

Full Support Great Idea so do not have to travel north of 385 and then back to catch 385

South Byhalia Road should remain residential and limit commercial to professional office buildings and/or banking. Retail is not needed since all retail is north of Winchester within 5 miles. The location is wooded and can better serve as a small neighborhood park with walking path, playground and/or theater stage. Very opposed to a convenience store and any retail of this type.

I vehemently oppose a convenient store at this location. There is no need. There are 14 stores listed as convenient stores within a 5 mile radius, a Walmart supercenter, and one convenience store just 1.3 miles to the north on Byhalia. Not to mention the fact that this will greatly devalue homes in that area. That is a statistically proven fact as is the fact that convenience stores or hard targets for repeat repeat criminal activity. (Sic study by Az. St. Univ). This goes in, we leave Cville.

I oppose the building of a convenience store at the corner of Byhalia and Shelby Dr. I believe the close proximity to the houses on Deep Pond will be adversely affected by the lighting from the store as well as decreasing our property values.

As a homeowner, I am highly opposed to a convenience store being built in such close proximity to residential areas. This area is primarily single family homes and shoulde remain that way to protect the integrity of our subdivisions and property values.
    Thank you,
