Collierville Chick-fil-a values community and people. This new plan has considered everything and everyone to ensure customers are safe and well served. This layout is designed specifically to keep traffic OFF the roads. I doubt there would be enough cars in the drive thru at one time to cause accidents on the main roads. There likely wouldn't be a backed up drive thru on Poplar again. I will happily be a guest at their new and improved store and I can't wait to enjoy everything new! Support!

The proposed loction for the CFA is a safety hazzard. The traffic study erroneously estimates the number of vehicles that will travel on Bray Station, a country road, to CFA. Because there are no shoulders or sidewalks and ditches on both sides, delivery vehicles, postal workers, school buses, garbage trucks, etc. stop on the road. Also, the intersection at Bray and Frank is already a saftey concern. People often seek to avoid busy streets with traffic lights. Bray Station is a alternate route.

I am against the relocation of CFA. The larger location, with emphasis on drive-thru will result in much greater traffic, with a large percentage shifting to Bray Station. Bray is a narrow, hilly rural lane with ditches on both sides and limited sightlines. The resulting traffic and traffic accidents should come as no surprise. Bad things in life sometimes happen just because of bad luck. Other times they happen because of bad decisions. This would be a bad decision.

I support the relocation and new building, a new building will help traffic stay off of poplar and increase overall safety. Also, workers wont have to walk through the drive thru to deliver food to customers. It will also have a bigger lobby space and playground which is great for families and all customers.

Traveling on Bray Station between Frank and Poplar is challenging at best now - navigating an intersection with one of the largest CFAs in the country will be a nightmare, with the only relief coming on Sundays. There will be serious, unintended consequences (traffic and safety) if this project is approved at this site. Moving it to another location on Poplar is not the answer! Please do not approve; we love CFA but they can do better for Collierville. Why not off 385 or in Schilling Farms?????

I am opposed to this location for Chick-fil-A. The problem stems from inadequate zoning laws across the US needing revision. High volume drive through restaurants should be zoned differently, requiring larger spaces and access roads. If they had appropriate space and traffic flow for the type of business they do, there wouldn't be these problems in so many municipalities. But unless it's required by law, who would spent that kind of money? The town will be left to fix the problems, at our cost.

CFA’s community support should not cloud the issue which is “is the site suitable.”It is NOT! The infrastructure to safely support the traffic does not exist. This quick fix might address CFA’s on-site issues but it would be detrimental to Collierville’s future. On-site safety is CFA’s responsibility. Providing off-site safety on our town’s streets is the Town of Collierville’s responsibility. Please vote NO!

I am writing in opposition to the proposed location for Chick-fil-A due to traffic and safety concerns. BrayStation is a 2-lane rural road, with no shoulders and little speed control. Since extending it thru to Wolf River Blvd, traffic problems have compounded exponentially. Traffic to the new CFA will come from Frank and Civic Center and exacerbate the problem. Why build one of the 10 largest CFAs at the corner of a residential intersection? Should be off of 385, not Poplar and BrayStation

Better design than current location which allows guests and team members to walk around the store safely. Added deceleration lane on poplar so cars will no be lined up on the street.

The new Chick-fil-A in Collierville prioritizes safety at every step. Strategically located with ample parking and robust security systems, it ensures a 100% secure environment. Thoughtful interior design promotes social distancing, while rigorous sanitation practices and employee training underscore its commitment to safety. This store sets a new standard, guaranteeing a safe and exceptional experience for customers and employees alike.

I fully support the new Chick-fl-a location. Chick-fl-a has fully researched about the traffic, data and flow in the area. I don’t think the opposing side knows how careful Chick-fl-a is when it comes to the safety of residents and drivers. This site is 100% guaranteed safe.

The move to the new location would allow traffic to flow more smoothly through the new facility.

I support CFA’s Relocation. This will improve the flow of traffic. The new site will also have a better drive-thru than the current one, making it more efficient. An upgraded interior space will also be equipped at the new site creating a more enjoyable experience. CFA’s new Relocation will be a huge benefit to the Town of Collierville.

We love and support Chic-fil-A but oppose the proposed location due to safety and traffic concerns. The amount of increased traffic on Bray, especially near a railroad track, will be a safety hazard as well as a backup to the traffic flow. Bray would be a main feeder road to this site and it is dangerously narrow with blind hills and no shoulder. Hopefully another site within the vicinity that is not already so congested can be found.

My family and I vehemently oppose the building of a Chick-Fil-A at the corner of Bray Station and Poplar. The traffic nightmare that will ensue is frightening to consider. A 2-lane road such as Bray Station simply cannot handle the amount of traffic that will overflow onto it. This will cause a traffic problem for people trying to get to work in the mornings, an extreme SAFETY issue for school busses transmitting our children to school, and many accidents at the intersection. Vote NO to CFA!

This is to express my objection to the above-referenced proposal. My wife and I recently moved to 973 Bray Station Road in Collierville. If approved, we believe the increased traffic resulting from this new business venture will pose a significant safety risk to everyone living or traveling, including residents along Bray Station. We depend on you, the Commission to look out for the safety and interests of the Community at large. PLEASE Reject this Proposal. Thank you. - James Browne

Chick-fil-A is an asset to C'ville for more than just food. They definitely need a larger lot and facility for safety of everyone involved. My dad lives on the GA/FL state line where one of the busiest CFA's operates. That facility is awesome, large enough to handle the crowds, safe parking lot and big restaurant for those wanting to dine in. We definitely need this - and I believe the location can easily handle it.
