Chick-Fil-A is a successful business here in Collierville with a stellar reputation of quality and growth that most other restaurants strive to have, Collierville needs to support businesses with such reputations. That's good for our community and our tax base. The engineers have put forth a plan for the new location that rectifies the traffic problem on Poplar; something that is sorely needed. Chick-Fil-A gives back to our community and its time for Collierville to support Chick-Fil-A.

I am in full support of building a new Chick-Fil-A to lighten up traffic, and to make the restauraunts run more smoothly. The current Chick-Fil-A restaurant is very small and doesn't have enough room for many customers and cars, so much so that traffic is backed up to the nearest stoplight, and people are lined up out the doors. Having another one would bring many improvements to there sorts of problems.

The amount of traffic this will add on Bray Station and Poplar will make this road more deadly than it already is. Chick Fil A is fine, but not on Poplar. My 9 year old daughter meets her bus on Bray Station at the end of our driveway. I fear for her safety and have been forced to drive her to school because of the traffic. Collierville has failed us in regard to my daughters safety and they can not make this decision to build this new facility if they care about the safety our citizens.

I believe that the traffic for the store will be a lot better and also believe that a bigger store will benefit the store and community in growing and becoming better

I am opposed to this site location. Moving Chick-Fil-A to Cartwright Farm Rd. off of Bray Station will not fix the safety concerns. The proposed facility will be one of the largest locations in the country and will be located off a 2-lane road that was never meant for that volume of traffic. The intersection of Bray Station and Poplar is already problematic; there is no right turn lane, and it is the frequent site of accidents. There are better options.

I oppose the planned building of Chick-fil-A near the corner of Poplar and Bray Station. This drive thru restaurant planned to service 4 times the current volume of customers (350-400 per hr.) will significantly increase the traffic on Bray Station, Civic Center Blvd and Poplar with congestion which will exceed the current location's and endanger the safety of the Collierville citizens that live and work in the area. The current infrastructure cannot adequately support this volume of traffic.

I am in full support of the new site plan.
The new layout will be much safer for guests and employees, would also increase efficiency allowing Chick-Fil-A to continue serving our great community with the standard of excellence they have shown for so many years. Their importance in Collierville through community efforts has been immeasurable and I look forward to the new store serving Collierville for years to come

Collierville resident for 45 years. Almost killed in 1 of 23 car accidents by teen driver running red light at Poplar and Bray Station. Bray Station Shea and Frank are 2 way country streets. No shoulders, yellow no passing lane, curves and hills. Cartwright Farms is a "Lane." I beseech folks who want one of the largest CFAs in the country built on our corner to drive down our streets during CFA peak dining hours (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and see if you would want it in your neighborhood

I fully OPPOSE a CFA in this location. There are so many SAFER lots to choose in Collierville. This intersection is already overwhelmed with development. Why are on earth would one wish to jeopardize the safety of pre-schoolers (Church of Incarnation) and the quality of life for the elderly (Gracious living community) in this very location. Bray Station already resembles a race course. Very few adhere to the speed limit. Safety hazard. Extra work for CPD. Conscience over dollars please.

I am fully in support of this proposal and our Collierville Chick-fil-A. A larger location would decrease current traffic flow issues for this restaurant and surrounding businesses.

Do I want CFA in Collierville? Yes. At this location? NO! Documented traffic hazards at CFA are currently due to turns and merges; dangerous. Moving to an intersection with lights and rail will progress from dangerous to DEADLY. Add ever developing construction, bottlenecks and congestion and this proposition becomes IRRESPONSIBLE. People will try to run lights and trains, both a deadly proposition. Are you prepared to bet your life on their poor decisions? Yes to CFA, HECK NO TO THIS LOCATION!

COLLIERVILLE Chick-fil-A is a Christian company that aligns with COLLIERVILLE values. The customer service is excellent and it is a true asset to this city. Poplar Avenue will be less crowded as they move to this new location and are able to better serve guests from this new location.

Support CFA as long as traffic impact is seriously scrutinized by professional traffic analyst. Comments about 420 cars seem highly exagerated. Even Normal flow (0 increase) at Bray Station has problems. Support with proper design.

I have lived at 440 Bray Station Road at the corner of Bray Station Road & Civic Center since November 2002. I am a Chick-fil-A fan, but I disagree with them building a new restaurant on the Bray Station corner. This project will greatly increase traffic on our street (up to 420 cars an hour), trash thrown on our property, delivery difficulties, difficulties entering & exiting our home, & most importantly, safety concerns for children & bus drivers due to the gridlock. Thank you.

I live on Bray Station and fully support the move. It’s a nightmare getting in and out of the current CFA, with no room to expand. The new location allows for the patrons and employees more parking and expansion of the building as well. It would also allow for easier access in and out. This is definitely needed!

I think this move is great! It will allow for more room and being a less congested area promotes safety for their patrons and employees. Fully supportive of this move!

I do not believe the public realizes the issues a new CFA presents from a safety standpoint. “Kicking” the “can” down the road does not help, It will be one of the largest CFA’s in the country. At the 3 peak times AM, Noon & PM it is estimated that 400 vehicles per hr. will be served. There is no ingress/egress on Poplar access is from two lane roads Bray Station and Cartwright Farms Rd. With the current volume of traffic, adding this volume will certainly create issues and accidents.

Chick-fil-A is a public nuisance blocking access to other businesses entrances, posing risks to pedestrians, causing accidents etc- it should be moved to an area with LOWER traffic counts bc of the traffic hazards it creates. In addition to the negative effects on mobility, queuing into the street increases the risk of collisions, particularly rear-end collisions and side-swipe collisions. Impeding of emergency vehicles will occur, how will this affect the retirement community across the street?

Chick Fil A is a popular restaurant in our city and is in need of additional parking for its customers to keep the car lines off of Poplar. I support the new location as it will provide ample parking to make it safer for both the customers and employees.
