I support the building because it will simply help some of the traffic. With the current layout, there are always cars on poplar due to the poor design, but with the new design there will be many new ways to help traffic. There will also be more spaces for customers, which will also help keep some cars off the streets. Not even mentioning the whole new lane made for the new building.

Chick-Fil-A is long overdue for relocation. The current location is a nuisance to traffic, local business owners and hinders revenue. Many customers including me often utilize the back lot of Home Depot as a shortcut out of CFA which is a danger to employees and delivery drivers of Home Depot. CFA needs to relocate to better serve the community now that they have grown tremendously and know what is needed for the safety of the community.

i 100% support. the volume of customers the current collierville receives is astounding. constantly the drive thru line backs up onto poplar where cars sit waiting to enter. the new chick fil a will provide a larger parking space for customers, a separate lane on poplar for the drive thru line, so that the street is not backing up due to the current issue with chick fil a’s drive thru line, and easy access to enter and exit.

I am absolutely opposed to this proposed location. This new CFA will have up to 3 times the capacity (up to 450 cars per hour) of the current one…think about that. I don’t know how any reasonable person would think this solves the traffic issues that already exist. You are literally moving it 3000 ft down the road next to a two lane residential road. The safety of all C’ville residents is at risk with this plan. The new location should be near a major highway with safer ingress/egress.

I fully support the planning of a new Chick-fil-A, I think based upon all the plans and research that is available, I would be very interested to see how the new store does. The plans include solutions that pertain to the problem of traffic and space and also how beneficial it would be to the affected area to be able to have a better flow flow of traffic, the plans include accommodations for most concerns and problems so I see nothing wrong

I think this site would be fine and would support a new facility here. My assumption is that other sites along Polplar have been vetted and for various reasons are not appropriate locations. It would seem to me that the now vacant Collierville Funeral Home at Poplar and Market is large enough site and has enough road access to prevent the current backups we have on Poplar. That would be my choice.

100% oppose. This proposed location of a Mega Chic Fil A off of Bray Station, so close to residential areas, is not a well thought out plan. Bray Station is not safely able to handle the increased traffic that a Chic Fil A of this magnitude will undoubtedly generate. This new Chic Fil A will not solve traffic and safety issues, assuredly, it is creating new and bigger ones further down the road.

I've reviewed the plan and cannot see how there is enough space to get cars off of the highway and off of the two adjacent side streets. I like the fact that the parking lot has room for trees, but they probably need the other lot next door to fit all of the vehicles.
This of course does not address the Bray Station street width and extra traffic, are there plans to widen, add turning lane? Will the city enforce the "creative" traffic moves that we all know will come from this?

I live near the corner of Shea and Winchester. I am opposed to the new Chick-fil-a location because of traffic. There have already been several serious accidents near my home this fall and more traffic on Shea heading to Chick-fil-a will mean more accidents. I also think it is bad to build a restaurant like Chick-fil-a that has a lot of cars near a pre-school.

I 100% support this new site plan.Chick-fil-A is great for our town and their commitment to its customers and community involvement makes them the perfect fit for our community. Supporting this plan is about bringing prosperity and a brighter future for this town. Outside of all the financial benefits, on top of the list is the safety and efficiency,We will not worry about traffic jams on poplar slowing traffic down or blocking shopping center or other business entrances. A win in many ways.

I support the new location and the new business plan. I believe the new construction will help provide us with new opportunities and businesses moving forward. I also support the current city administration they haven’t been wrong yet and I’m sure they won’t start now

100% Oppose. The issue isn't CFA's good product, nice owner, or community contributions as some suggest. The issue is SAFETY & appropriateness of this site. Bray will be main feeder road for EVERYONE north of Poplar between Byhalia & H. Levee. Massive congestion on Bray, at Poplar/Bray, & at all roads connecting to Bray, will be the result. Bray & its connecting roads are RESIDENTIAL -not designed to carry large traffic loads. YOU CAN BE ASSURED OF DEADLY ACCIDENTS IF THIS LOCATION IS APPROVED!

Strongly opposed to this location. Narrow 2 lane Bray Station not built for this much traffic - there will be serious accidents not if but when. Also the intersection at Bray Station and Poplar cannot handle more traffic unless widening of the intersection is planned. Only one shared straight and right lane heading south already backs up, and if there is a train passing it's a real mess. Just moving the problem to West Collierville isn't really a solution.

The current CFA was built 20+ yrs ago when the population was 33000. The traffic issue they face now is addressed with the new site plan - extra lane on Poplar & entrance off private drive between Cartwright Farm & the 3-lane portion of Bray Station. The layout is also safer for customers entering the building & employees delivering food. The plan amenities are what citizens have requested - more indoor seating, outdoor seating & a playground. CFA is in business to serve all C'ville citizens.

We're 36-yr residents of C'ville & are strongly opposed to this site for a huge CFA. Bray Station is narrow, has dangerous hills & no shoulder, & many speeders & people passing in no-passing zones. A RESIDENTIAL road - NEVER intended to accommodate constant flows of cars. Safety of all in this area will be compromised! Congestion from Schilling development & railroad Xing greatly increase the danger. Will unfairly harm businesses located adjacent to it. Vote to oppose! Better options exist.

100% oppose. The current location is bad, but this new proposed location is just moving the problem down the road, not alleviating it. Bray Station does not have the infrastructure to support this. It will only dramatically increase traffic to an already busy, narrow, RESIDENTIAL road and it's already dangerous. You need to fix the problem completely, not just put a band-aid on it, and should relocate it it to an area that will be better & safer for the general public.

I vehemently oppose the new Chic Fil A. The current road conditions are subpar and traffic has increased exponentially since the opening up of Wolf River Rd. There has already been a traffic incident at the corner of Bray Station and Poplar where 2 people were killed. Additionally, A Chic Fil A does not seem to align with the "Towns Comprehensive Plan" to retain the "urban feel" of Collierville on Bray Station Rd.

I oppose the building of Chic fil a at the corner of Bray Station and Poplar. There are many other sites that are better suited for the traffic than this location. There have been numerous accidents at this corner some sadly where deaths have incurred. The increase of traffic is going to open up the venerability of the children walking to and from West Middle School, walking on Frank to get on the Greenline to walk to the Burch Library. Safety for our children & citizens should be #1.

I oppose the new site plan for CFA. Bray Station Rd and Frank Rd eastbound from Houston Levee are not designed to safely accommodate the increase in traffic. Furthermore, many of the cars will have inexperienced teen drivers adding to the safety issue.
