I support the building of Chic-Fil-A on Poplar. I think the fears of a massive traffic increase on Bray Station are unwarranted. If the increase in traffic occurs, the city can put up speed humps on Bray Station and the problem will be solved overnight. That land will be developed at some point, and I believe Chic-Fil-A's plan addresses the traffic issues they have at the current location.

My family is happy to support Chicfila as we appreciate their great customer service, standards and most importantly the Christian principles the company was founded on. The bigger site is very needed and will be so much safer for the employees and customers and will take care of the traffic issues on Poplar. As has been mentioned in other posts-there are accommodations Chicfila will be making so that the new location can be safe for everyone!!

Approving a supersize, super busy CFA at the end of a narrow residential rural road (a road intended by Coll. Land Use Plan to be rural as it serves "Estate Residential" homes) would be a HUGE mistake in judgment by Planning Comm'n. This endangers our families! Just b/c CFA wants to be on Poplar does NOT mean they should or must be on Poplar. Massive 54-acre development across road (RR, apts, retail, restaurants) will cause dangerous congestion there. Houston Levee & 385 area is more suitable.

Support, support, support! Our town needs this larger, safer CFA to support our families! The indoor playground would be a great resource for families in town and we need more dining space than the current location. CFA is one of our favorite places and a location that is more in line with other locations in cities of our size would be such a huge benefit for our town! A larger parking lot, better drive thrus, more indoor seating and the indoor playground will be invaluable!!

I am in support of the relocation, as it will undoubtedly be better equipped and planned to address the traffic issues that have arisen due to the current Collierville location’s increase in popularity. Given this is God’s chicken we should give the Chic-Fil-A chicken sandwich the cathedral befitting such a splendid testament of God’s creation. Additionally, it would be pretty cool to no longer have to deal with the nightmarish hellscape it is to pullout of (or drive past) Chick-Fil-A on Poplar.

Yes, please! Their current location is not large enough to handle the vehicle traffic. A very successful employer wants to invest in our community, this should no-brainer...

1,000% opposed to this site. A TERRIBLE area to put one of 10 largest CFAs in entire country! Certain to cause very dangerous conditions on Poplar, Bray, Frank, Civic Ctr., Shelton, etc. Serious accidents & also collisions w/wildlife will vastly increase. Massive Boyle development & apts across street will encourage unsafe foot traffic. Railroad exponentially increases the danger. This is NOT a solution to CFA’s current problem. Safer options exist, such as Schilling Farms. Vote no to this!!

There’s always a line on Popular, which causes a lot of traffic jams for anyone driving by. With a relocation we can avoid these and have smoother roads.

I fully support the CFA proposal. I am confident CFA extensively planned and researched a new site location. I believe it will help reduce the strenuous traffic on Popular. In addition, the new design will aid in safety for not only the guests but also the employees. As such, a new site for CFA has been long overdue.Overall, this new relocation will improve the efficiency of their business, reduce traffic, and improve safety for employees and guests.

I fully support a new Chick-Fil-a because, the traffic on Poplar is constantly backed up and very likely to cause an accident. With the new location, there will be easier access to enter and exit the building. It will increase safety for the employees and guests. I doubt Chickfila would pick a location for it to have the same issues. I’m sure they have done their research before choosing this location.

I think we need a new building for chick fil a because it would be a much safer way to get the food to guest and not have to go through traffic and we would also be able to have traffic off the main road and not cause any type of accidents i don’t think CFA would choose a new location just for more traffic problems or to make it more difficult for guest to come inside and for employees to get food to other guest we would also be able to have food out to guest a lot faster. i support this plan

I would like to see a new CFA in Collierville. We can all agree that we love CFA, but please do not place one at this proposed location. This intersection already has so much development underway, which will most certainly impact traffic volume, and flow. Bray Station is already overwhelmed with traffic, and very few drivers adhere to the speed limit. I anticipate an increase in accidents, which adds further strain on our CPD and emergency services. Thank you.

I support because I believe this will help CFA be more organized. The location on Poplar is already a mess and is more likely to cause an accident on the road. I don’t think CFA would pick a new location for it to just have the same issues. In the new CFA they’re adding a separate lane for their restaurant making it better for traffic. Another reason the new location would work better is the workers who bring our orders out wouldn’t have to go through the drive thru traffic to give us our food.

I fully support a new Chick-fil-A in a new location in collierville. Im actually interested to see them expand out more.
I can understand the concerns from everyone about safety. But believe they’ll find a way to make it way safer for everyone. The main goal they’re striving for are less accidents and more people to happy and satisfied.

I believe it will be better to see everyone have easier access to get to and from. And not hold people up. So, I’m willing to let them prove themselves.
